Welcome Bulldogs! My name is Leah Sykes and this is my second year at RRJH teaching 7th grade English! Prior to teaching at RRJH, I taught middle school English in Bossier Parish for 6 years. I obtained a B.A. in Secondary Education from Louisiana State University in Shreveport in 2013 and a Master's of Education in 2017. I reside in Bossier City, LA and I have three children (Malachi, Naomi, and Braxson). In my spare time, I love reading, shopping, watching DIY Youtube videos, and painting/refurbishing furniture. I absolutely love teaching and am excited to begin a new year!!!!
