Dear Families,

Welcome to 6^th grade and Junior High! My name is Mrs. Rachael Williamson and I will be your child’s Science and/or Social Studies teacher for this year. This is my eighteenth year teaching in Red River Parish. I taught thirteen years at RRES and this is my fifth year teaching Science at RRJH, and my first year to teach a Social Studies class.

For communication throughout this year, we will use Remind. You will need to download the free Remind app. A link to download the app and/or to login is below in the important links section. There are a couple of ways to join classes. You can either search for the school(Red River Junior High), then the teacher (Rachael Williamson), and then join the class, type in my class code @rwsci6, or text the message @rwsci6 to the number 81010.

For academics, all work will be done through google classroom. Each student will be assigned to a class. (SCI6A, SCI6B, SCI6C, SST6C) Links to each class are in the link section below. Students must sign in daily to do work.
